Lateness

Modified on Thu, Oct 26, 2023 at 12:30 PM

It is the responsibility of the participant to arrive on time for their scheduled class. Lateness will incur all fees associated with a class cancelation. The purchaser agrees that no refund will be provided if a participant arrives late to class. Prior training or experience does not substitute classroom sessions. As an American Red Cross provider, we have to adhere to the standards for training and this means you need to be on time in order to be marked successful and obtain certification. Be advised that having prior training does not excuse lateness, and cannot be considered when factoring an assessment for certification. The instructors will not provide exceptions. Course requirements are set by the American Red Cross and all Instructors must adhere to these guidelines without exception. Asking the Instructor to violate these policies in anyway, including by harassing, interrupting a course, or in any way detracting from the educational experience of other students will result in a violation of our behavior policy, and may make you ineligible to take classes with ProACT Critical Care Academy in the future.
